Former Minister for Indigenous Affairs

SUVA, Fiji (Fijilive, April 17, 2009) – Former military commander and interim government minister Ratu Epeli Nailatikau has been appointed Vice President of Fiji.

Ratu Epeli was Minister for Indigenous Affairs in the interim government led by Prime Minister Commodore Voreqe Bainimarama.

His appointment, made minutes ago at a swearing-in ceremony at Government House, is under the eighth decree issued by President, Ratu Josefa Iloilo.
