13 Pacific nations enjoy unprecedented exposure

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (RNZI, Aug. 23, 2010) - International and Chinese visitors to the Pacific Pavilion at the World Shanghai Expo have now reached four million.

The 4 millionth visitor Fan Tiantian of Wenzhou and her cousin were greeted with a traditional Pacific welcome and given gifts from all around the region.

There are 14 countries involved in the Pacific Pavillon.

Its commissioner general, Peter Vincent, says the challenge now is to turn the interest shown into travelers to the Pacific.
