Goodwill Industries of Hawaii has a job opportunity in the division of Human Services for someone who is bilingual in English and Marshallese.

Job Description Summary:

Develops and implements Job Readiness Training programs for participants in keeping with the most current job trends and labor market needs to better serve participants in finding employment.

Provides group and individual educational and vocational guidance services

Provides case management, employment counseling, job placement, and job counseling/retention after placement to clients

Conducts employer outreach and job development to expedite successful placements

Administers tests, conducts interviews, and researches professional sources to appraise clients’ interests, aptitudes and personality characteristics while facilitating activities in a work related curriculum.

Number of positions: One full-time

Education/Qualification Requirements: Bilingual must be proficient in English and Marshallese. Prefer Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science with training experience with individuals or groups of up to 20.

Job Preparedness classes such as resume writing, dressing for success, budgeting, time management, stress management and related training curriculum are desirable. Excellent communications and organization skills, familiarization with verbal de-escalation techniques and customer service a must, Proficient in Microsoft Office and must have a Hawaii Driver’s License and access to an insured vehicle.
