August-September athletic event to take place in Noumea

PAPEETE, Tahiti (Tahitipresse, Jan. 3, 2011) – France Televisions signed a convention a few days ago in Paris for the next Pacific Games.

The Games are to be held in Noumea, New Caledonia, in August and September.

This will be again one of the biggest events of the year for all Pacific athletes.

No less than 3,500 athletes are expected in New Caledonia for the event.

The competitions will be held in 37 different places in Noumea but also in other cities.

France Televisions, formerly known as RFO in French overseas territories like New Caledonia and French Polynesia, will broadcast the event.

France Televisions TV crews from New Caledonia but also from French Polynesia and Wallis and Futuna will team up for this great competition.

France Televisions is now an official partner of the XIV Pacific Games, a France Televisions press release states.

The Pacific Games are scheduled to be held from August 27 to September 10, 2011.
