PALAU SOLDIER DIES IN AFGHANISTAN CONFLICT

Moses was a sergeant in the U.S. Army

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Radio New Zealand International, April 28, 2011) – A Palau man has died while serving with the United States army in Afghanistan’s civil war.

22-year-old Army Sergeant Sonny J. Moses of Koror sustained a fatal injury from a grenade attack at Forward Operating Base Gamberi in Nangarhar province.

He later died at the Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany.

The Palau Flag has been ordered to be flown at half-mast locally in Moses’ honor.
