Arrives after serving in Bougainville

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Radio New Zealand International, March 27, 2015) – New Zealand police superintendent Steve Caldwell is scheduled to arrive in Tonga today and is expected to take up the position of Police Commissioner next week.

The government says Mr Caldwell comes to Tonga after two years as Contingent Leader for the New Zealand Police in Bougainville.

Mr Caldwell replaces fellow New Zealander, Grant O'Fee, who retired in December after two and a half years of service.
