SAIPAN, CNMI (Marianas Variety, Feb. 5, 2016) – The Palau Consulate is still registering new voters for the island nation’s national elections this year.

Consul Eileen Kintol said their office at the Sablan Building at the Chalan Piao-Beach Road intersection is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

"We would like to inform the Palauan community on Saipan that we are still conducting registration of voters," she said.

Palauan citizens 18 years old and above can register and vote in the November elections. Requirements include a passport and birth certificate.

The registration, which started on Feb. 1, ends on Feb. 5.
