Ro Teimumu conveys disappointment with Media Decree, removal of Public Accounts Committee chair

SUVA, Fiji (Fiji Times, June 10, 2016) – Opposition Leader Ro Teimumu Kepa says her discussion with New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key was a successful one.

Speaking to The Fiji Times Online, Ro Teimumu said she raised her disappointment with Mr Key on the changes to the Parliamentary Standing Orders to remove an Opposition chairman from the Public Accounts Committee.

She said she also highlighted the continued existence of the Media Decree and its imposition on the Fiji media which was still not free.
