Solomon Islands Hydro Project To Be Joint Venture With Korean Government Corporation

K-Water, Investment Corporation of Solomon Islands to development Tina River project

WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Radio New Zealand International, Feb. 8, 2017) – The Solomon Islands Prime Minister's Office says the Tina River hydro development project will be owned and operated by a joint venture between the government and Korea's K-Water.

Under the arrangement K-Water, the Korean government corporation for water and hydropower, will form a joint venture with the Solomons government's commercial arm, the Investment Corporation of Solomon Islands.

K-Water has engaged specialist financial, technical and legal advisors for support in finalising Project Company arrangements.
